Persistent Organic Pollutants Compliance Statement
The European Union and other parties to the Stockholm Convention on PoPs, are concerned by the continuous release of persistent organic pollutants into the environment. These chemical substances are transported across international boundaries, far from their sources, and can persist in the environment, bioaccumulate through the food web, and pose a risk to human health and to the environment.
