PLCC to PGA Adapters

PLCC Adapters with Murphy Circuits® easily convert PLCC devices for thru-hole soldering or socketing. Unique Murphy Circuits® technology replaces a typical printed circuit board with a precision insert molded lead-frame, allowing for value added, 3-D features such as molded locating ribs to aid in device placement and integral stand-offs to ease processing.

  • Adapts JEDEC .050/(1.27mm) pitch PLCC packages (Leaded Type A) to standard PGA footprints.
  • Molded locating ribs aid in device placement.
  • Ribs between "J" leads eliminate shorting.
  • .100" (2.54mm) pin to pin spacing allows more space for conductor runs on PCB.
  • Polarization pin option available.
  • Saves space (X, Y, & Z) when used with Advanced's low insertion force PGA Sockets.
